Piper graduated from UNLV in 2025 with a BA degree in Anthropology and a BS degree in Earth and Environmental Science. She is currently pursuing an MS degree in Geoscience. Her research focuses on the speciation and mobility of sediment-bound phosphorus in the Las Vegas Wash and the underlying implications for harmful algal bloom formation on Lake Mead.
