Chanel is an undergraduate student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. Chanel’s research interest centers on applying data analytics and machine learning techniques to environmental contexts. Her current role in the Environmental Geochemistry Group involves estimating flood managed aquifer recharge efficiency across the Central Valley of California and identifying factors that control recharge rates in heterogeneous aquifers.
